2026 City Budget Hearings

Cleveland residents and commuters are advised of an active pipeline infrastructure replacement project by Enbridge Gas Ohio on East 91st Street and East 92nd Street in Ward 8. This project involve the replacement of older steel mainlines with new plastic infrastructure to enhance service reliability. Construction activity is occurring Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. While two-way traffic will be maintained with the assistance of traffic control personnel, travelers are urged to use caution and expect minor delays in the work zone.

The City of Cleveland has set a closing deadline for several invitations to bid today, February 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Current active bids include requirements for Aluminum Blanks (MUTCD) and Yellow Base Plate & Anchor Washers for the Division of Traffic Engineering. All bid documentation must be submitted to the Department of Finance, Office of the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies, by the designated time to be considered for contract award.
